Wheel of Fortune
Cycles · Turning Point · Momentum
The Wheel of Fortune is the card of cycles. Life turns: seasons change, situations rise and fall, and what is stuck begins to move. It reminds you that no phase is permanent, and asks how you will meet the turn.
What is on the card
A great wheel inscribed with letters and symbols turns in the clouds. A sphinx holding a sword sits on top, a snake moves down one side, and a jackal-headed figure rises on the other. In the four corners, a winged figure, an eagle, a bull and a lion read from open books.
The turning wheel is change itself, and its symbols suggest a pattern behind the movement. The figures moving down and up show that every rise and fall is part of the same cycle. The sphinx at the top is balance and perspective. The four creatures in the corners stand for steadiness through change.
Wheel of Fortune, upright
Upright, the Wheel of Fortune marks a turning point. Something shifts, often in a way you did not plan: a stuck situation moves, an opportunity appears, or a chapter closes.
It invites flexibility. You cannot control the turning of the wheel, but you can choose how you respond to it.
Wheel of Fortune, reversed
Reversed, the Wheel of Fortune can describe a phase that feels like a setback, or resistance to a change that is already under way.
It can also point to a repeating pattern. The reversed card asks what you can learn from the cycle, so that it does not keep returning in the same form.
The Wheel of Fortune in love
In love, the Wheel can describe a change in a relationship’s course, an unexpected meeting, or the return of a familiar pattern. It favours openness to how things are shifting.
What it means for you: Which change it points to in your love life depends on your question and what is happening now.

At work, the Wheel often marks a change of circumstances: a new opportunity, a restructure, or a project that finally moves. It favours adaptability.
What it means for you: How the change may affect your own work depends on where you stand.

With money, the Wheel describes ups and downs, and suggests preparing for both: making the most of good periods and building a cushion for leaner ones.
What it means for you: What this means for your finances is personal. A reading offers reflection, never financial advice.

Usually “yes, change is coming”.
As a yes or no card, the Wheel of Fortune usually leans toward yes, with timing that may not be in your hands. It suggests movement where things have felt stuck.
A meaning is general. Your reading is not.
